Eco-friendly T-shirt Printing Service.

eco friendly t-shirt printing north wales

We provide a water-based eco friendly T-shirt printing service. The majority of screen printers use plastisol inks which contain PVC and phthalates which are harmful to the environment. The inks we use contain no toxic chemicals and are also free from lead and other heavy metals. They do not contain ozone-depleting chemicals such as CFCs and HCFCs aromatic hydrocarbons or any volatile solvents, and as the inks are water-based the screens can be cleaned with water rather than solvents.

The water-based ink we use have passed the Oekotex Class 1 standard so they are safe to use on babies clothes.

Once the ink is cured it is machine washable and can be ironed. Unlike plastisol ink water-based ink has a soft feel to it and is more durable.

Artwork Guidelines.

The screen-printing process has limitations, so when creating your design please keep in mind that it is difficult to reproduce photographic images, fine lines and gradients. Bolder images with areas of solid colour work best.

Size.
The size of your design must be smaller than A3, and also needs to fit on the garment. You will also need to specify the print position - you can mark the position on this template.

Colour.

If your design has more than one colour, the colours will need to be separated. If you can do this yourself, please submit your design with separate layers or files for each colour. We can undertake simple colour separations free of charge, but for more complex colour separations we may have to charge you. However, we will contact you before carrying out any work. We can print up to a maximum of four colours.

We will also need to know what colours you want printed; you can describe the colour i.e. Postbox red, Royal blue etc. If you want a more specific colour please supply a CMYK image, CMYK reference, Pantone colour reference or send us some swatches or a hard copy of your design by post as colours can vary from one monitor to the next.

Text.
Make sure that any text in your design is converted to outlines or embedded in the artwork.

File Transfer
You can send your files to us by email, or by post. We can accept the following formats: JPEG, TIFF, PDF, PSD, Ai or EPS. Please ensure that the resolution of the image is 300dpi.

If you need any help please do not hesitate to contact us.
